　　According to Wang Minliang, Secretary General of the Chain Drive Branch, during the 11th Five Year Plan period, China's chain drive industry has developed steadily and rapidly. Although it was impacted by the financial crisis in 2009, the overall trend of sustained development has not changed. Since 2010, the recovery growth momentum of the entire industry's economic development has been particularly strong. Except for foreign trade exports, all other major economic indicators have reached or exceeded historical best levels. China has become a major manufacturer and exporter of chain products.

At the same time, there is less investment in technology research and development, and the application and promotion of some advanced processes and equipment are not widespread enough. It can be said that to some extent, the lag of process equipment is restricting the process of shortening the gap between China's chain drive industry and foreign advanced levels.
